What is AutoCAD?
AutoCAD is a computer-aided design (CAD) program used for 2-D and 3-D design and drafting. AutoCAD is developed and marketed by Autodesk Inc. and was one of the first CAD programs that could be executed on personal computers.
- Mechanical CADD Course
Mechanical engineers design, analyse and help manufacture mechanical tools, engines, and machines. They are employed in almost all manufacturing sectors including Heavy machineries, ship building, aerospace, automobile. They are also employed in engineering services and product design companies. They, carry out a wide range of design and analysis activities, in the product development lifecycle. Their key tasks include: Concept Sketching, 2D Design & Drafting, 3D Modeling, Prototyping, and Performance & Safety Analysis.
Role in the Industry
Mechanical engineers who have CAD skills are employed in manufacturing industries including automobiles, aeronautical, engineering, heavy industries, locomotives, and marine. Learning CAD software is important because almost all of these jobs (and more) are performed with sophisticated CAD software that guarantees speed, accuracy, and reuse of work. With CAD skills, mechanical engineers can find employment and increase productivity.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for the job of Draftsman / Engineer / Analyst / Product Designer / Product Engineer

- Electrical CADD Course
Electrical engineers design electrical equipment and electronic products – from microchips & computers to electric power networks – and any other products that process information and transmit energy. The primary task of Electrical Engineers is circuit designing or Schematic diagram.
Circuit designers have the responsibility of designing electronic circuits that make up electrical systems. The minimum educational requirement is a bachelor of science in engineering, some employers require a master’s in electrical engineering. Since circuit designs change frequently, this career requires a greater amount of continuing education to keep up with technology updates.
Role in Industries:
An Electrical CADD software can automate all design tasks and facilitate drafting productivity. Engineers can create electrical schematic, control circuit diagrams, and documentation using industry specific electrical softtool.
Electrical Circuit designers work in a variety of engineering industries including aerospace, automotive, chemical, construction, defence, electronics, consumer goods, marine, materials & metals, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, power generation, rail, telecom, and utilities. Circuit technology is constantly changing, new and updated circuits are continuously needed. For this reason, circuit designers should expect good employment opportunities in years to come.
Upto Rs 2 lakh per annum (in India)
Students who have completed these basic CAD courses can apply for the jobs of Circuit Design Engineer / Electrical Designer / Control Engineer / Energy Transmission Engineer
- Civil CADD Course
Civil CAD learning is an essential requirement for large construction companies as well as businesses that have Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for development of civil designs and plans. CAD course is by far the right way for any student to maximize productivity and prove their potential in the shortest time frame. The course of Civil CADD at CADD Centre includes worthwhile assistance on structural design, land survey & transportation design, and building design.
In education of structural design, it imparts skills on analyzing & calculating the rigidity, stability, and strength of structures. In the land survey and transportation, it teaches on how to conduct the land survey for determine the position of points and angles distances on the land. The segment of building design upskills an individual in planning and designing layouts of a building.
Role in Industries:
Once, the student has gained a basic understanding of CAD software; they can learn how it can be applied in the civil drafting projects. Civil CADD professionals can also quickly come up with a finished set of drawings that includes planning, profile cross-sections, topographic maps, and subdivisions. Civil CADD will prepare students to make use of CAD in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for enhancing Civil Engineering Designs and Construction Documentation.
The Civil CADD professionals can take up construction and infrastructural development projects. The town planning and others are on the rise, and therefore, demands for skilled domain specialist is high. In short, for the search of comfortable homes, better roads, and standardized living, the demand for Civil professionals will always remain on a rise.
Upon the completion of the course, students can apply for the jobs of Civil Engineer, Field Engineer, Construction Manager, Site Inspector & Supervisor and more.
Up to Rs. 2 Lakhs per annum (in India)
- Architectural CADD Course
Architectural designers create functional and practical spaces in urban and rural settings using many different materials. Modern architecture demands in-depth knowledge in mathematics, engineering, arts, science, and technology for designers to understand how structures work, the characteristics of materials and forms, and so on. The success of an architectural design is gauged from a building’s beauty, firmness, and utility.
Architectural design involves the following core activities: sketching freehand or creating a preliminary design, schematic designing of laying out mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural details, creating construction documents etc.
Role in Industries:
Architectural designers use CAD to compile layouts, design conceptual elements, components and systems like windows, doors, interior partitions, floor finishes and complete entire design drawings. CAD software allows designers to work on complex engineering details and analyze the proposed structure’s tolerances and weaknesses.
Building Information Modeling (BIM), a recent generation of CAD software, enables architects to model an intelligent 3D model-based process that equips architecture, engineering, and construction professionals with the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.
Architectural designers are mostly employed in firms that offer architectural, engineering and related services industry.
Upto Rs 2 lakh per annum (in India)
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for the jobs of Architectural Designer / Space Designer / Facilities Designer / Architectural Renderer / CAD Designer / BIM Modeller.
